For our 6th Anniversary my husband surprised me with an amazing trip to different places of the UK, driving from London to Scotland and making a few stops on the way there. On our way back we stopped at Morecambe for a few days and visited Windermere, the largest lake in England. This is one of the hundreds of photos I took during our holidays in Lake District, it was a beautiful day and I love how blue the sky and the water looks…it was the best holiday ever!

The UK is facing an unusually cold winter with temperatures of as low as -22C. It has left people feeling quite miserable because snow causes chaos on the roads forcing some to abandon their cars in dangerous places, having to walk miles on ice to get to school or work. However if there is a positive side to the snow is that everything just looks so pretty! Lucky for me I live close to a park and I couldn’t resist to get my camera and go for a walk.
