The hubby and I recently decided to visit the spectacular White Cliffs of Dover in south east Kent… they didn’t disappoint. It was a sunny and warm saturday making this the perfect place to go to for a walk and some fresh air. These rather remarkable white cliffs are made out of soft chalk accentuated by streaks of black flint. They face towards Continental Europe, 22 miles off the coast of France. Part of the cliffs belong to the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty.
